Summery[]
Paranormal activities begin to happen at the Crystal Temple and Steven, Amethyst, Onyx, and Ronaldo must try to find out why.
Plot[]
The episode begins with Steven and Lapis walking home from their date at the movie theater. Lapis told Steven that she had such a wonderful time with him and asked him when they will do it again. Steven smiled and told her anytime she wanted to. Lapis blushed and walked a little closer to Steven which made Steven also blush. They walked along the beach and finally arrive back at the beach house but notice all the lights outs. Usually there would be at least some light if someone was gone but there was absolutly not light at all. They walked slowly to the door and opened it seeing the lights completely off. Steven and Lapis hold each other tight as they walk into the darkness trying to find the light switch. The fridge door opens but there is no one at the fridge which sent chills down both Lapis and Steven's spines. They walked near the couch and hear someone breathing behind which makes Lapis hold Steven tighter. As they walk by the couch, a figure with a sheet over her head pops out and scares them as if it was a ghost. Steven and Lapis scream from this but then the figure begins to laugh and fall to the floor, Steven recognized the laugh and took the sheet off, revealing it to be Amethyst which got both Steven and Lapis annoyed that she scared them like that. Amethyst got up and apologized for scaring but did say that it was so funny then walked to the fridge. Lapis asked Amethyst why she scared them like that and Amethyst told them that she just loves to scare people. She then pulls out a massive sub sandwich and swallows it in whole which slightly disgust Lapis. Amethyst then told them both goodnight and walks into Onyx's room, leaving Lapis and Steven alone. Steven turned on the light switch and asked if Lapis wanted to watch a movie which made Lapis smile and nod to the idea. Steven turned on the TV and sat on the couch with Lapis as they watch a movie together. A few minutes into the movie, the lights suddenly go off and the TV turns static. Steven wasnt sure what was going on and soon cabinets in the kitchen open and close by themselves. Steven sighed and thought it was Amethyst so he tried to tell her to stop. Soon objects in the house begin to levitate and Steven starts to get angry telling Amethyst to stop again. But suddenly both Onyx and Amethyst come out of their room asking what was going on. Steven was shocked and worried on what was causing all this strange activity. Steven looked into a mirror and noticed what appeared to be a ghost which frightened Steven and at the top of his lungs said "its a ghost!"
Steven and Lapis both run outside and both Amethyst and Onyx follow them frightened with all of the paranormal acticity in the house. Steven then asked if Pearl, Garnet, Sapphire, or Emerald can help but Amethyst and Onyx told Steven that they were all on a mission together and won't be back till morning. Steven was worried since they didn't know if this ghost would leave or not, which really frightened Steven so much. Onyx asked if there was any way to figure out what's going on with this spirit and Steven began to have an idea. Steven told them to wait till he comes back and runs along the beach to the town. Onyx told the Gems that he would look inside to see what kind of activity was going on. Amethyst took his hand telling him not to since she was afraid something bad would happen if he went inside. Onyx however told her that he would be fine and kissed her forehead before going inside of the house alone. He looked around and noticed the objects stop flying around. He thought the activity stopped but suddenly all at once, all the cabinets and drawers opened and things begin to knock over. Onyx continued looking and looked into the mirror that Steven looked into to see if there was something in the mirror like Steven saw. Suddenly, the glass of it began to crack and the cracks in the glass spell out "Onyx" which really frightened Onyx and ran outside. Amethyst hugs Onyx and asked what was wrong and Onyx told her everything that happened from the cabinets and drawers to the mirror which really frightened Amethyst. Onyx told that it was best that they wait until Steven got back. They waited on the beach until they see Steven with someone who appears to be dressed like Sapphire which confused Onyx. Steven told them that he brought a friend of his named Ronaldo, who is an expert in the supernatural. Onyx then asked Steven why he was dressed like Sapphire and Steven explained that he wasn't trying to and that his outfit is what he does investigations with. Ronaldo approached and greeted them then begins to ask what was going on in the house. Onyx explained the paranormal activities especially with the mirror which worried Ronaldo. Ronaldo told them that he may know what's going on and asked them if they could go into the house to find out what was going on. Steven accepted as well as Onyx but both Lapis and Amethyst were worried. Amethyst eventually agreed but Lapis asked if she could stay outside. Ronaldo said it would be fine and finally they went back into the haunted house.
They all walked in, fearing what was going to happen in the house but Ronaldo didn't seem as scared as the others were. He looked around and asked the spirit if he could send a sign of his presence and the ghost responded by knocking down the chairs in the room which startled Amethyst and Steven. Steven held onto Lapis for comfort and Amethyst did the same with Onyx, hoping that this will soon be over. Ronaldo then pulls out a ouija board and places it on the ground, hoping that he will be able to communicate with the spirit that is haunting the beach house. He places down the piece and asks the spirit what its name was. At first nothing happened but the piece began to move and soon it spelled out "Hematite" Ronaldo then adressed him by the spirit's name and asks why he is haunting the house. The piece moves around and soon it spelled out "warning". Steven began to think on what this meant but then he thought back to the spirits name and before Ronaldo could ask another question he asked if Hematite was a gem. The piece moved around and pointed to "yes" which suprises Steven, Amethyst, Lapis, and Onyx. Steven then asks if he can present himself and soon the piece points to something that is off the board. Steven follows the direction of the piece and see the mirror that Onyx ran from. He looked in the mirror and soon a green vortex came from the mirror and from it came a gem with chains on his wrists and appearing as through the gem was more of a ghost than a gem. Onyx summoned his weapon and asked why he was terrorizing them and the gem told them that he had to warn them. Steven asked what he wanted to warn them about and Hematite explained about what he found out about Amber and Tiger Eye. He explains that he was haunting a building when he overheard something from Amber and Onyx about overthrowing Dragon Opal. Onyx didn't know why this was a threat and asked why, but Hematite responded by saying only two words, "Dragon King". Onyx was shocked to hear this since he knew what he was talking about and soon he ran into his room and Amethyst chased after him. Hematite then looked to Lapis and Steven and apologized for scaring them and Steven said it was ok and that he can haunt the house if he wished but doesn't want as much paranormal activity. Hematite agreed to this and before he did anything else, he made a frightning demon face which scared Ronaldo out of the house and Steven, Lapis, and Hematite laughed from the moment, which ends the episode.
