Red Diamond is the (unknown affiliation) for (unknown series).
Red Diamond is a Cross-Gem, unlike her sister. Both Crocite and herself were created from a Half-Gem and a Gem mating in two ways; one of which is the way that Cross-Gems are formed however she split up with her sister before their singular state could become a Cross-Gem. By chance or otherwise Red Diamond became the Cross-Gem with her sister merely a half-Gem.
Appearance[]
Her body is very dragon-like, a somewhat short-ish neck with a thick head and an average-length snout containing three rows of thin, pointy teeth. Her body would be lithe but it's heavily bulked out with thick muscle and scales. She has four legs and a somewhat long tail with a dense cluster of spikes near the tip.
The scales covering her body are abnormally large and are a dark red, slightly darker than her gemstone. Her underside's scales whilst just as strong as the ones atop her are a lighter shade of red. Red Diamond's tongue is thick, long and black, a colour shared by all of her internal flesh/organs.
Red Diamond's claws are comprised of 3 large and straight-ish claws, all three point forwards with two slightly smaller of these claws facing backwards, behind the paw. Each claw is shaped like a triangle-based pyramid that curves inwards at the bottom and outwards on the other two sides. Each edge is serrated (this is on each paw). These claws are the same shade of red as her gemstone.
She has two pairs of backwards-sweeping horns on the sides of her skull, one above the other. Each has a small hole behind it (the horns go over the holes). All 8 of these things act as ears for Red Diamond.
Her gemstone is in the form of 16 small, sharp spikes running in a line from atop her head to the tip of her tail. If forced to return to her gem, Red Diamond's 16 mini-gems will bind into a full, normal one.
On her back is a pair of large wings that connect just behind the neck. They're bat-like however the membranes are covered in fine, tiny scales. They furl up with surprising subtlety when not in use.
Her eyes boast a dark red pupil and sclera but a jet-black eyeris. The pupil and eyeris are slit-like.
Personality[]
Red Diamond is playful, cheerful and friendly. Despite this though she is very easily angered and can be incredibly aggressive, quite easily towards friends and family. This combined with her massive enjoyment for chaos and her sadistic nature makes her a cruel individual. She greatly enjoys eating and sleeping. She seems to take life whenever possible, often killing off wide areas of grass and plant-life to get more of it.
Despite how easily angered she is, she's surprisingly good at keeping (relatively) calm if she feels insulted but knows that it wasn't meant to have that effect.
Abilities[]
She carries standard Gem abilities alongside the ability to drain life from things merely through being within a rather large radius of them. Although she drains life far more effectively if she uses a beam-like projectile attack that eminates from her gems, mouth or claws. She drains even more effectively if she makes contact with the target. She can channel life that she's draining into another target although she can't do this with stored life.
Her gem-weapon is the ability to breathe torrents of a red, fire-like substance that is resistant to water and a lack of oxygen whilst proving vastly hotter than normal fire. She can also let out waves that seem like a visible, red sound-wave that's capable of smashing into things with destructive force.
Her Gem weapon enhances her teeth and tail's spikes to be sharper and more durable whilst giving Red Diamond larger gemstones, each gemstone is capable of letting out seeking, (optionally) explosive projectiles made from Red Diamond's own life (these projectiles are capable of draining life from whatever is in the explosion's radius).
She is faster and more durable than her twin sister but not nearly as strong.
