Mirror AU is an AU (Alternate Universe) within the Steven Universe fandom. In this AU, Lapis replaces Steven, and he is the one that was trapped in a mirror.

About this AU[]

This AU is like a swap thing, instead of Lapis being stuck in a mirror and a homeworld gem, Steven is. Lapis is part of the Crystal Gems and helps humanity, however Steven is not. Steven is 75% Gem and 25% human, his mother was Kunzite and she was a full gem; however his father was Quartz and he was a half gem. When his parents fell in love they both had to give their physical forms to make their baby and a new gem known as Rose Quartz, instead of being called Rose Quartz they named him Steven. Steven then was raised by Rose Diamond in the Homeworld, the poor boy never got to see his father's planet. After a few years Yellow Diamond found out that Rose Diamond was raising a gem that was part human and she took him from her, later breaking his gem and placing it into a mirror; she then sent it to earth to hope that she would never see Steven again. Then the Crystal Gems found the mirror in a temple on a mission and kept it.
