Sunstone is one of the four major protagonists in The Jewel Gems.
Appearance[]
Sunstone has a light orange complexion. Her hair is dark red, curly, and only reaches onto her shoulders. Her eyes are oval and is Peach in color. She wears a pale red shirt with a circular cut-out. This is where her gem is placed. A translucent, brown cloth overlaps the shirt, and it also serves as her skirt, although the skirt part is opaque. She has plain red shoes.
Personality[]
Sunstone is a fierce, strong warrior. She is exceptionally strong, and can wield weapons about fifty times her own size. She has a flexible body, which makes it easy for her to glide past her enemies. Sunstone, however, speaks before she thinks, and is highly opinionated. She will support her beliefs no matter what you say.
Sunstone is aggressive, and can become upset and angry quite easily. She loses her focus when she is very upset.
Abilities[]
Sunstone possesses standard Gem abilities and traits.
Skillset[]
- Strength: Sunstone is exceptionally stronger than other gems. This is shown when she lifted a car with relative ease. Her strength, however, has limits. After carrying two trucks while gliding in the air, she showed some signs of fatigue.
- Dream Communication: She can communicate to other gems via Dream Communication. While sleeping, she can communicate with other gems that are also in sleep, and can also hold or contact with them. She shares this ability with Steven Universe.
Relationships[]
Azurite[]
Azurite and Sunstone are very good friends. They have the same goal, and many similarities, although Sunstone is brawn-y while Azurite is wise. Azurite and Sunstone are in good terms.
Emerald[]
Sunstone and Emerald are good friends. They like breaking glasses with their high-pitched voices which Topaz finds annoying. And speaking of which, they find it funny to annoy Topaz, although they know their limit.
Topaz[]
Topaz and Emerald are in good terms, although Emerald and Sunstone likes to annoy her.
Adamite[]
Sunstone and Adamite doesn't communicate with each other very often, but they are known to be quite comfortable to be around each other.
Ericssonite[]
Sunstone and Ericssonite don't communicate with each other often. Nevertheless, they are good friends.
Rutherfordine[]
Sunstone and Rutherfordine have not talked closely, but they are nice to each other.
