"Emerald" is a Homeworld Gem who debuted as a non-verbal cameo in "The Return" and was officially debuted in "Jail Break". She is a recurring supporting character.
Appearance[]
Emerald is relatively short (a little taller than Amethyst) with a slightly chubby build, mainly around her stomach and limbs. She has green bangs and hair that is pointed on the sides with a small clip of hair tied into a small ponytail and over her shoulder, along with large black pupils and green irises. She wears a dark green sleeveless tank top that ends under her chest with a large rectangular hole on the front and a large collar that reaches partway up her neck. She also wears black leggings that reach her knees with three oval holes on the side of her legs and dark green thick sandals that have a black bottom. Her gem, a rectangle emerald, is located on the upper part of her back.
Personality[]
Emerald has more of a reckless personality, as she sometimes doesn't think her actions through enough. Bad luck often exists with her, yet when she ends up making a mistake it often succeeds. Around Peridot and Jasper, Emerald tends to be very loving and sweet, often giving them hugs and other signs of affection.
Abilities[]
Emerald possesses standard Gem abilities, including weapon-summoning, shape-shifting, bubbling, regeneration, fusion, agelessness, and superhuman strength/durability.
Fusions[]
When fused with Cat Eye, they form Andalusite.
Skillset[]
- Warhammer Proficiency: Emerald is very skilled with her warhammer, and mixes very well with her immense strength. She is able to literally pound opponents into the ground or hit them and knock them quite a ways off. However, if she is upset or out of control, she can use too much power and destroy an opponent, cracking or breaking their gem.
- Weapon Size Augmentation: Emerald is able to alter the size of her warhammer, to the size of her whole arm or as large as a gem warship, though it is mainly the size of her arm.

Her and Peridot tend to share a thick bond, as she acts as a "daughter" and she is often regarded as a prodigy by her.

Emerald does not seem to show a relationship with Yellow Diamond, as she has never met her. However, Peridot and Jasper often tell Emerald about her.
