[Open Ext. Communications Hub]
(The Crystal Gems arrive at the Communications Hub.)
Mage: We're here!
Ivory: It's about time.
Jet: Wing travel is convenient, is it not?
Mage: So what magical place of mystery is this?
Citrine: (interrupts) Oh, I'm so glad you asked! This was once a communication hub for Gem-kind. But lately, it's begun transmitting bursts of electromagnetic interference!
Ivory: Whazzat mean?
Jet: It's hurting television. (puts hands on hips)
Ivory: Noooooooo! I'll save you television! Hi-yah! (tries to damage one of the pillars)
(Jet catches a small chunk punched off by Ivory and crushes it.)
Jet: Ivory, we could be here all day taking out of these pillars individually.
Mage: What we need is a well thought out plan-
Ivory: No. What we need is- (summons object from gem) -This baby!
Jet: Where did you get that?
Ivory: From Citrine.
Citrine: I'm never letting you borrow anything again.
Ivory: Seriously, though, this thing is powerful. It'll destroy everything in a snap. (snaps fingers)
Mage: Wow. What is it?
Jet: This is an ancient Gem weapon. It uses Gem energy to fire a localized energy blast.
Ivory: Heavily used in the rebellion!
Jet: Yes. However, it's said that only powerful Gems may activate it.
Ivory: (points at Mage)
Ivory: (hands weapon to Mage) Here. Activate it.
Mage: But you guys are powerful! You fight bad guys and all that!
Citrine: Some Gems produce more energy than others.
Mage: (holding weapon) How do I do this?
Jet: Just relax and feel it.
Ivory: Bio-rhythms, yo.
Mage: Okie then...
(The weapon glows.)
Mage: Is this normal?
Jet: Yep. First, find your center of balance.
Mage: Oh, like this?
(A large beam is suddenly fired from it, causing an explosion. Jet and Mage are blown back by the impact.)
Citrine: Hmm... Recoil.
